Morgan D. Mead

(Director)

Morgan was born and raised in northern Indiana and currently resides in Indy. He began making short films with his parents' VHS camera at the age of 11 when he proclaimed someday he would be a film director. He pursued his dream in the years that followed and eventually enrolled in the TV & Film Production Program at Ball State University in Muncie Indiana. After three years he took all the production classes they had available so he left and headed for Los Angeles and attended the NYFA Film School at Universal Studios for his final year of formal education.

Morgan has directed literally hundreds of projects ranging from web videos to feature films. 2008 was a big year for Morgan, having directed three feature films in one year. The first was a film made in partnership with Ball State University entitled My Name is Jerry starring Doug Jones, Don Stark, and Catherine Hicks. The partnership was a first of its kind- never has a university funded a film developed by an outside production company. The other two films produced in 2008 were religiously themed documentaries. One of those documentaries, The Alpha and the Mega, took Mead all over the country filming at a series of megachurches.
